Sri Murthy, MD | Associate Faculty

Dr. Sri Murthy graduated from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India. Her father, who was the director of a pharmaceutical company, inspired her to become a physician. She relocated to the United States after marriage and graduated from the Clinton Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program that was previously affiliated with the University of Cincinnati.

After residency she worked in urgent care, and then in 2001 she opened up and co-directed a new family medicine practice center for the underserved community in Hamilton, Ohio (initially known as BCCHC- Butler County Community Health Center) and helped in the process of acquiring FQHC status.

She also worked as a clinical preceptor for the Family Medicine Residency Programs at Clinton Memorial Hospital and University of Cincinnati.

In 2008 she joined full time UC primary care, where she is providing compassionate care to her patients from newborn to geriatrics.

Her motto - Treat every patient in the way I want to be treated.

Dr. Murthy has also served in several free medical camps for underserved populations both in and outside the US.

She occasionally binges on Netflix, likes to take long walks with her husband, and enjoys cooking.
