Manoj Singh, MD | FM Practice Director

Dr. Manoj Singh is originally from Canada, eh?, having completed medical school and family medicine residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

He worked as an occupational health/ER physician in Newfoundland for 3 years and then moved to Ohio to work as a family physician in private practice at Portsmouth Ohio before joining the faculty of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2005. Dr. Singh practices a broad spectrum of family medicine: taking care of patients in the office, hospital and in a near-by Assisted Living Facility. Dr. Singh has been involved with medical students from the University of Cincinnati for many years and loves teaching and learning from his students.

Outside of patient care Dr. Singh is very interested in quality improvement and has been involved in several regional and national programs, most recently in Heart Healthy Ohio and Primary Care First. He has been really excited by the changes in family medicine over the last few years, including the emphasis on team-based care.

Dr. Singh and his wife Tanuja, a yoga instructor, are empty-nesters living in Mason, Ohio and saving their coins for the next trip to Hawaii. Dr. Singh is a huge fan of ice hockey and 80’s rock music; his wife is not.
