Jess Kallenborn, DO | Core Faculty
Dr. Jess Kallenborn is from Upstate New York and is a graduate of Gannon University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH, and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.
In the office, Dr. Kallenborn practices general primary care for patients of all ages, and specializes in non-operative orthopedics and sports medicine, as well as ultrasound-guided procedures and osteopathic manipulative medicine. She splits her time between the family medicine office and the department of orthopedics and sports medicine. Recently, Dr. Kallenborn held the position of Head Physician for the Cincinnati Cyclones ECHL Pro Hockey Team here, but she is currently a team physician for the University of Cincinnati, St. Ursula High School, and the Cincinnati Cougars Women's Professional Football Team.
Within the residency, she is core faculty, practicing in the office and on the inpatient service. Dr. Kallenborn directs the musculoskeletal didactic series, including ultrasound evaluation and treatment techniques, as well as OMM. She also manages the sports medicine rotation, and provides sideline sporting event and mass event coverage opportunities for the residents.
Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her wife, Rachel, and their golden retriever, Jameson. She enjoys fitness and working out, cooking (especially grilling and using her smoker), trying new restaurants in the area, and attending any sporting events she doesn't happen to be working.
